Amazing colour painting on silk, perfect for the summer, with grass hoppers on 3 hyotan. In Japan hyotan is an auspicious product of the farm, like nasu (eggplant) or daikon (Japanese radish). Kakejiku is attributed to Watanabe Kazan (1793-1841).
